The people (Lisa and the owner get special shout outs) could not be any nicer!! We had our dog with us on a cross country road trip and they opened the patio just for us, gave our Coco water and Lisa even fed our dog bacon!!! This place deserves your business and my huge thanks!!!

Update: 3rd time visiting and never disappoints. The pickle spears are sooo good and I recommend the Megh burger and sweet potato traxs. The food is always to die for. We love coming here during the week as it's not too busy. Great local pub. Good food, friendly employees all around good establishment and a treasure to have in the valley.

As a connoisseur of Bloody Mary's, especially those that are over the top with toppings, I had to stop in at Nelson's to try their take on it, a Canadian Caesar. It did not disappoint. Loaded with a jalapeno popper, shrimp, grilled cheese sandwich, chickens wings, bacon, edamame, pickles and olives, it's practically a meal on it's own. I wasn't very hungry on this day so was disappointed I couldn't try the rest of their food. Their menu is very unique with tons of interesting items on it. I'll be back to try the food next time I'm in the area.

This place doesn’t really show up on reviews. Not sure why? I happened to just drive by. The weather was grand and they had a patio. I played it safe of course and ordered a burger says it’s made fresh daily and that’s exactly what I got great burger. They have a great burger menu from a fried egg on it to sauteed mushrooms. I really don’t think you can go wrong. The rest of the menu looked interesting also for every one. PS nice local IPA also whitewater brewing company. I come this way for business from time to time. I will be back to this place fore sure. The servers were excellent also and thanks to kitchen for the great burger and onions rings. PS it’s right on the Ottawa river and there is a great water tower with mural on it. Update: I was in town for business the weather was grand again so off to the Nelson street pub I went. The service was great and friendly. I had the wings with fries. The fries we’re home cut so very good. Wings were done well.

this place is great, the service was really awesome I love how she gave me a double caesar and told me after she was so cute. We had the nacho bucket and th caesar and it did not disappoint. I want to come back and try the heart attack cheese burger tower or that menu item with 40 slices of bacon on it.

First time going here. Very pleasant experience. Our waitress was super friendly and very attentive. The food and portions were amazing. Only thing I would critique would be the bacon as it had more of a beef jerky texture making it tougher to eat. Will definitely return again for sure.

Coming all the way from Alberta, The food was amazing and we were not disappointed. The drinks were incredible as well. We had the famous ceasears, trash can nachoes and ordered 3 different burgers. WOW! The portions and flavors were fantastic! We had a wonderful server by the name of Destiny, she went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our expereince. Cant wait to return when back in the area. Great Job Nelson St Pub!! The Rauchs xoxox

I always order The Big Nasty and it never disappoints. However, my wife was craving for nachos and we ordered the Trash Can Nachos and they weren’t good. The crew got in touch and invited me to try it one more time, and it was simply phenomenal. Incredibly well made and tasty. The chicken wings and the poutine were also delicious. Best Pub in town!
